If your apiary regularly gets hot, buy ventilated: the bonded mesh holds the cloth clear of your skin and lets heat out. If it does not, cotton is quieter against the hive, cheaper, and easier to repair.

Sizes run from X-Small to 5X-Large. Bee suits are meant to be loose — the gap between cloth and skin is part of the protection — so order for comfort over a layer of clothing rather than a close fit.

Yes — 30 days from delivery, unworn and unwashed. Trying it on indoors is fine. Custom-fit suits are covered by a fit guarantee instead: we alter or recut them.

Ventilated mesh: cool wash, gentle cycle, veil removed, never tumble dried — heat delaminates the mesh core. Poly-cotton: a warm wash is fine. Veils are always hand washed.

Wash more often than feels necessary: venom residue in the cloth makes your next inspection worse. There is a full guide.

No, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something. A well-made suit with a proper standoff makes stings very unlikely, but no garment removes the risk entirely. Inspect your suit before each use and replace it when it wears.
