Size guide
A bee suit is meant to be loose — the gap between cloth and skin is part of the protection. Measure over the clothes you would normally wear underneath.
How to measure
Chest
Around the fullest part, tape level under the arms. Stand naturally — standing to attention adds a couple of centimetres and makes the finished suit tight when you actually move.
Waist
At the navel, not where your trousers sit.
Hip
Around the fullest point.
Height
Barefoot, against a wall.
Inseam
Crotch to floor, barefoot.
Sleeve
Centre-back of the neck, over the shoulder, to the wrist bone with the arm slightly bent.
Neck
At the base of the neck, with one finger under the tape.
Shoulder
Bone to bone, across the back.
Preferred ease
How loose you want it. Most beekeepers want a generous amount over the chest measurement — the gap is part of the protection.

The measurement chart is not published yet. We have the size names but not the chest, waist and height ranges each one is cut to. Those come from the workshop’s grading sheet — inventing them here would send people the wrong size and cause returns. Send us the chart and it appears on this page.
