Returns & exchanges

Thirty days to be sure it fits.

Draft — not yet approved. This page is a working draft written from the store’s stated terms. It is legally binding once published, so it must be reviewed before the store takes payments. Anything still unknown is marked in the text.

The window

You have 30 days from delivery to return a ready-to-ship item for a refund or an exchange.

Condition

Items must come back unworn, unwashed, and with any tags still attached. A suit that has been worn in an apiary carries alarm pheromone and propolis and cannot be resold, so we cannot accept it.

Trying a suit on indoors to check the fit is exactly what the window is for — that is not "worn".

Made-to-measure

A custom-fit suit is cut to your measurements and cannot be resold, so it is not covered by the standard return window.

It is covered by our fit guarantee instead: if it does not fit, send it back and we will alter or recut it.

How to start a return

Contact us with your order number and what you would like to do. We will send return instructions.

Refunds go back to the original payment method once the item reaches us.

Return shipping

_To confirm: who pays return postage, and whether exchanges are handled differently from refunds._

_This matters more on an international order than a domestic one: postage back from Europe can approach the value of a light item, and a buyer who cannot find the answer before paying often does not pay._

If you are buying from the EU or the UK

Consumer law where you live gives you a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase, counted from the day the goods reach you, without giving a reason. Our 30-day window above is longer than that and applies instead — the statutory right is a floor, not a ceiling.

The one exception is a made-to-measure suit. Goods cut to a customer's own specifications are excluded from the statutory right to cancel, which is why the custom-fit window works differently. The fit guarantee above is what covers it.

_To confirm with a lawyer before launch: the exact wording, the trader details that have to appear alongside it, and who bears the cost of return under the statutory right._
